2.Monteverde Night Walk Tour: the night life of the forest

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 24 reviews · 2 hours (approx.) · from $85

Meet at 6:00 pm for a two-hour private walk on a Monteverde-area trail chosen by Pasión Costa Rica. Your guide may take you to the Wildlife Refuge, Santamaria, Curi Cancha, or another local site. Use a flashlight to look for frogs, snakes, sleeping birds, mammals, and insects. Guides may include Marcos, Sergio, or Marvin.

“Night tour with Pasíon Cost Rica and Marcos was a great time for our family. Marcos was kind, knowledgable, and adaptable. He also picked us up and dropped us off at our accommodation. We were able to see several animals during the tour. Of course you can’t ever predict what will be seen given they are wild animals but Marcos did his best to get us in view of some. We saw an emerald toucanet, side stripe palm pit viper, many types of insects, a few types of birds, and a few frogs.”
